As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required by site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as instructed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
