What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activity encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification as needed, and maintaining awareness of the flow of individuals within the location.
  • Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities during emergencies or unusual situations, following established protocols and instructions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
