What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to assist in maintaining a secure environment for clients, tenants, and visitors.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
• Offer assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and employees as part of customer service responsibilities.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
