Job Description


As a Security Officer - Media Patrol in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic tech and media location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruption at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to a technology and media environment.
  • Support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and/or contractors by providing helpful information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
