As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout your assigned area, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the utility facility to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during high-risk or emergency situations.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
