What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with the resolution of issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a visible presence.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help support a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
  • Document observations and incidents according to company and client protocols, maintaining accurate records for review.
  • Assist with enforcing rules and regulations specific to the location, addressing violations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to provide a positive experience for all individuals at the site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
