What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disturbances within the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify and respond to potential security-related concerns within the government facility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
