As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence to all visitors. Your role involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining visibility throughout the location, and delivering top-notch customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Assist customers, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Report and document any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as required by the site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
