As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Unarmed in Pembroke Pines, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service. This position also requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, engaging appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance or information as required.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with the public and/or employees as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
