What You'll Do:

  • Conduct screening of individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location, following established procedures to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and staff with inquiries and directions while maintaining security-related protocols.
  • Carry out access control duties, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas within the logistics and distribution environment, including the perimeter, to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
