As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Coffeyville, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer at this chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you respond to various situations and interact with personnel throughout the site.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site operations.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential security-related issues to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Interact professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Assist with access control procedures and verify credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
