As a Security Officer - Education Patrol Roving in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the education location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting students, staff, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues within the education environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain order within the location.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel or authorities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
