As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will remain highly visible, engage with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity or access by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions, access control, and general inquiries as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities and notify appropriate personnel in the event of incidents or alarms.
  • Follow all site-specific post orders and Allied Universal guidelines while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
