As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local authorities as necessary.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing directions and information, while upholding site-specific access control protocols.
  • Document all incidents, activities, and observations in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Support a welcoming and orderly environment by helping to deter disruptive behavior within the healthcare facility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required for this position.
  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A current guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
