Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver in Crete, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while on duty. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with a focus on areas relevant to food and beverage operations.
  • Monitor for and report any irregularities, such as unusual activity or property damage, that may impact the location.
  • Support access control measures by observing and documenting the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as required.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and requirements related to the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
