As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with guests and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail and mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Document observations and activities during patrols, reporting any security-related incidents or concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist in controlling access points, monitoring entrances and exits, and interacting with the public in a professional manner.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations as directed by Allied Universal and/or client leadership.
• Participate in training sessions and remain up to date with site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
