As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry Monitor in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify identification of personnel and visitors as required by site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or incidents according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and site staff to support a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
