As a Security Officer - Logistics Screening Operator in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, performing screening tasks, and engaging with individuals to provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the logistics and distribution environment, including during emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and monitor for unusual activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
