As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Perform screening of individuals and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, as assigned by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel to provide guidance and enforce location policies.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or policy violations observed during assigned shifts.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to maintain a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
