What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor for any unusual activity or potential risks, especially those unique to chemical and petrochemical environments, and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as outlined by location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
