As a Security Officer - Education Campus Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.
• Report any security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual activities observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals as required by site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence throughout the educational environment, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Participate in emergency response activities, following protocols set forth by the site and Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
