As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or travelers as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related matters and support emergency response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
