As a Security Officer - Armed Telecom Facility in Adelanto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order within a dynamic tech location. Your role includes monitoring access control points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions and observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
• Support site operations by observing and reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A California weapons permit with 9mm caliber endorsement is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
