As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist medical staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries to support a welcoming environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to help to maintain a secure environment.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly following security-related incidents or routine patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
