As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to the location as required by property guidelines.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Communicate and collaborate with property management, residents, and Allied Universal leadership regarding concerns or incidents as needed.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related threats and/or emergencies within the residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
