As a Armed Security Guard - Training Center in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This post requires both driving and armed responsibilities. You will engage with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a positive environment. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the retail location.
• Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations, including emergencies, as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain visibility throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, employees, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to company and client protocols.
• Remain alert to surroundings and potential security-related concerns specific to a retail environment.
• Follow all company and client protocols for the handling and use of firearms, maintaining readiness for armed response if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must have an active Texas Armed Security License. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
