As a Security Guard - Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Monitor access points and common areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious behavior.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a secure environment for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
