As a Security Officer - Access Badge Patrol in Flushing, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with visitors and staff, support access control procedures, and deliver top-notch customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all instructions and procedures provided by Allied Universal and site management to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
