As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Logan, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your routine patrols and attentive presence will contribute to a secure environment for all onsite. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Document observations and report any irregularities or incidents according to Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to restricted areas.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support emergency response activities, including evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures, as directed by site protocols.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings in order to identify and report potential security-related risks or hazards specific to a chemical and petrochemical location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
