As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Part Time in Anadarko, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. This role involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. As this is an armed and driving post, you will be responsible for both carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor the premises for any security-related concerns, reporting and documenting incidents as required.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of personnel entering restricted areas.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and protocols unique to utility locations.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and training requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
