As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout your assigned area. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within logistics and distribution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activities as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and customer service objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Lifting more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Lifting up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
