As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and support access control. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, all while embracing our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor for unusual conditions or activities and promptly report findings to management and/or Allied Universal supervisors.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors by providing information and guidance related to security-related matters at the location.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
