As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities as required.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings in a technology-focused environment, adapting to changing conditions as required by the post.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms and other equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
