As a Security Officer - Telecom Facility Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a leading technology environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential risks and unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.
• Support emergency response activities according to site protocols, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when necessary.
• Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
