As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage within the location.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behavior within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
