As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol Full-Time in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and contributing to a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as required.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to support incident response.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Comply with all Allied Universal training requirements and site-specific procedures relevant to government facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
