As a Security Officer – Hospital Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while responding to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential risks to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to enforce facility policies.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and assisting with evacuation or other response efforts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
• This hospital position may require working in or near the hospital morgue.
• This hospital position may require restraining individuals as part of security-related duties.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
