What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or visitor credentials as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing directions to emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least  21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
