As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at retail and mall locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter security-related concerns and/or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or providing guidance to visitors and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
