As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Control in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Assist with visitor management and direct individuals as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as appropriate.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate with appropriate personnel during incidents as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
