As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Gate in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related breaches.
• Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
