What You'll Do:

  • Operate the dispatch center by monitoring communications and coordinating response activities for incidents and requests across the location.
  • Receive, document, and relay information regarding site activities, incidents, and emergencies to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and site access procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support security-related procedures by maintaining awareness of site-specific policies and responding to alarms, notifications, and/or calls for assistance.
  • Assist in maintaining logs, records, and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents occurring at the location.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives, maintaining clear and professional communication during routine and critical situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
