As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas using a company vehicle. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interiors and surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized behavior and/or prohibited activities within the location through visible patrols and attentive presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Provide assistance and information to visitors, shoppers, and tenants as needed, maintaining a helpful and approachable demeanor.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
