What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns in and around the location.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activities, incidents, and security-related occurrences while on duty.
• Comply with all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements specific to armed posts within financial institution locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
