As a Security Officer - Armed Plant Patrols in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients at food and beverage production and distribution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required by the post profile.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when appropriate, following established communication procedures.
• Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuation and/or lockdown procedures as outlined in site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert to unusual activities and/or conditions that may require intervention, reporting any observations promptly to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
