As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This position requires you to be armed and operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will engage with clients and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and support a secure environment while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Act 235 qualification is required for Pennsylvania.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
