As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, including chemical and petrochemical areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding security-related matters or incidents.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols related to the handling and access of chemical and petrochemical areas.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • A college degree is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
