As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver Weekends in Plymouth, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle as well as on foot. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site staff and emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
  • Provide visible presence within the healthcare environment to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere for staff, visitors, and patients.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when required, and reporting any irregularities.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
