Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Security Officer in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct regular patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
  • Complete reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel and site staff to address security-related needs and concerns at the location.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to any incidents or emergencies that may arise during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
