As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service within a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and interact with employees and visitors to support a secure environment. This armed position is ideal for professionals who value teamwork, integrity, and making a positive impact every shift.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Interact with individuals at the location in a courteous and professional manner while addressing any security-related concerns.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and logs as required, documenting all security-related activities and observations.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary, following established protocols.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings during patrols and while stationed at assigned posts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
